Starting a startup in Turkey

Turkey, with its high geographical position between Asia and Europe, is transitioning from industrial agriculture to technology. The startup environment of this country, like other parts, is moving at this stage. Due to the large population and European and American investment in this country, the tendency of young people to start start-ups has increased. There is a budget at the disposal of the municipalities of each region to activate the students as well as the students to present the idea and do it in a startup, which concludes contracts with startup facilitators and universities to persuade the target community to go there. .

Universities have also set up parks in their environment to house start-ups and knowledge-based companies, so that students can continue to operate in those environments. Finally, banks have entered the stage of launching startup environments and have created these environments

November 2019 version summary

  • After reviewing the startup environment and Turkish technology for several weeks, especially in the two major cities of Istanbul and Izmir, it can be concluded that the scope of activities has accelerated since 2014 and 2015 with the help of the Turkish Development Office.

Due to Turkey's geographical location, European countries, rich Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have recently, and finally the United States in the Silicon Valley, helped Turkey to set up these environments.

  • Some of these countries set up a collection directly in Turkey with the help of a prominent Turkish figure and manage it using cheap and active Turkish force.
  • From a population perspective, Turkey can be considered as a suitable target market directly and indirectly for exporting services to neighboring countries.

In the following page, a map of the Turkish startup environment is presented.
